Leeds United manager Jesse March was sacked within a year.
Leeds said on the 6th (local time): “The club informs you that March manager has been sacked. We thank the manager March and his staff for their hard work and wish them a better future.” The appointment process is underway.”
March, from the United States, took over the helm of Leeds on February 28 last year as the successor to manager Marcelo Bielsa. His contract was for three years.
The first start was successful. He dramatically succeeded in keeping Leeds in the English Premier League (EPL) last season.
However, despite the massive reinforcement, the crisis continued this season. After winning 4-3 against Bournemouth in November of last year, Leeds fell into a swamp of seven consecutive games without a win (3 draws and 4 losses).
The rankings are also precarious. 스포츠토토 Leeds are currently in 17th place (18 points), the remaining Maginot Line. There is no difference in points with Everton, 18th in the relegation zone. The gap with Southampton (15 points) at the bottom is only 3 points. In the end, Liz pulled out her sword again for a reversal.
March is famous as the teacher of Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton). Hwang Hee-chan was coached by March in Salzburg (Austria). It is for this reason that rumors of Hwang Hee-chan’s transfer to Leeds were raised in the transfer market last summer.
Leeds’ next head coach is being talked about by Spanish coach Carlos Corberan, who leads West Boromic in the Championship (Part 2).
