The KBO will host the 2023 KBO Future Youth Leaders National Education University T-Ball Tournament at the KBO Baseball Center in Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do on Thursday.
This is the 16th edition of the KBO Future Youth Leaders T-Ball Tournament, which will feature a total of 12 teams from 10 universities across the country, divided into four groups to play preliminary league games, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals, where the winners of the semifinals will play for the final championship.
Since 2007, the KBO has been hosting the Substitute Student Tee Ball Tournament to encourage education students to play tee ball in physical education classes and after-school activities at elementary schools, thereby expanding the baseball base and discovering new baseball dreamers.
The tournament is sponsored by Boeun County and Dong Aotsuka, who provided the baseball field at the Boeun KBO Baseball Center, and Dong Aotsuka provided water and Pocaris sweatshirts to keep the players hydrated.
To help students improve their baseball skills, this year’s tournament will feature a baseball clinic where KBO talent donors Song Jin-woo and Jang Jong-hoon will provide one-on-one lessons in pitching and hitting, respectively.
There will also be a variety of programs, including the Home Run King Festival event, where one male and one female student from each school will compete to see who can hit the longest home run. 메이저사이트
