Manchester City drew 1-1 with Brighton & Hove Albion in the 32nd round of the 2022/23 English Premier League (EPL) at The American Express Community Stadium in Brighton, East Sussex, South East England, England on Sunday (May 25).
City have already clinched the EPL title regardless of the remaining games. They even celebrated the trophy last week. After that, they accepted a draw in their first game.
“I think it was a great game,” Guardiola told Sky Sports the same day. “First of all, 스포츠토토 congratulations to Brighton for qualifying for the Europa League,” he said.
“We came into the game 40 hours after a victory party in Manchester (where we are from) and I think we showed today why we are champions,” he continued.
Guardiola added: “We had to do what we have been doing against a team like Brighton, both with and without the ball. We had to do what we have done with and without the ball against a team like Brighton and I think we did it without fail.”
