Jeju lost 1-5 to Ulsan in the 18th round of the Hana OneQ K League 1 2023 on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Munsu Stadium in Ulsan. The heavy defeat to league leader Ulsan left the team winless in three league matches since the game against Gangwon FC.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, head coach Nam Ki-il said, “The game wasn’t bad. I think we played well. We had some chances. I think we lost individually rather than as a team.”
When asked what he meant by individual, he explained, “It was the difference between scoring a goal or not scoring a goal when we had a chance.” 먹튀검증
Jeju has earned its points with a solid defense. Conceding five goals was painful. Coach Nam said, “We played as well as we could today. I think our smallness in front of the goal was the difference between victory and defeat. Even though we conceded five goals, I think we did a good job with our preparation against Ulsan.”
