Benjamin Pavard’s transfer to Inter Milan. The deadline is tomorrow.
Bayern Munich made changes to their defense this summer. While the positions of Mathias Der Licht and Dayo Upamecano remained unchanged, Luca Hernandez and Fabar were linked with transfers. Luca was quickly sold to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), where Lee Kang-In is currently playing.
Pavard was also consistently linked to other clubs. A year away from the end of his contract, Fabregas has indicated that he is interested in a move away from Munich. German outlet Bild reported on Thursday that “Fabregas wants to leave Munich. He has repeatedly expressed his desire internally at the club. Officials and teammates are aware of this.”
His top priority has been a move to Manchester United. “Fabregas showed how much he wants to join United by replying to Rafael Varane’s social media posts,” European soccer transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano said on Friday.
The possibilities were there. Having established a solid center-back duo in Lisandro Martinez and Rafael Varane, the Red Devils were short on rotational options. They had Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire, but neither was reliable enough to be trusted. United tried to bring in additional center backs, including Kim Min-jae and Axel Disassi, but both failed. This is where Fabregas came in. With only one year left on his contract, the possibility of a move for Fabregas was not likely to be expensive.
However, things didn’t progress. No formal negotiations took place. That’s when Inter Milan approached. Italian soccer journalist Pascual Guaro wrote on his social media account on the 18th that “Bayern Munich’s first demand for Pavard is 30 million euros, including bonuses. Inter Milan are hoping to lower the transfer fee.” 바카라
Despite the disagreement, the Nerazzurri are confident of making a deal. Alfredo Pedulla, a reporter for TV Dello Sport, said on Nov. 21: “Inter have reached a full agreement with Pavar. They are confident that they can finalize an agreement with Munich by Tuesday.” The estimated transfer fee is €30 million.
The two clubs have also reached some sort of agreement. “Inter Milan and Munich have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Pavard,” Romano wrote on social media on February 22. The amount is €30 million with options. An important issue remains for the transfer to take place. An important issue remains for the transfer to take place, namely that Munich must find his replacement.”
If Munich were to sign a new defender, Pavard’s departure would be immediate. However, that hasn’t happened yet. The Bavarians are still only “looking” at potential replacements.
In this situation, Inter Milan have set a deadline. According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, the deadline for Fabar’s transfer to Inter is tomorrow and he is all set to move to Milan.
