Following Lionel Messi (35), Sergio Ramos (37) is leaving Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

PSG announced on Wednesday (July 3) via its official channels, “After two outstanding seasons at PSG, Ramos has decided to leave the club at the end of this season. We would like to thank Ramos for his two years of commitment and wish him all the best for the future.” 메이저놀이터

Ramos is a central defender who joined PSG from Real Madrid in the summer of 2021. Along with Messi, he was joined by Ashraf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Giorginio Wijnaldum.

In his first season at PSG, Ramos was plagued by injuries that limited his playing time. In his second season, he was a key player. In his two seasons with PSG, Ramos won two consecutive Ligue 1 titles and one Trophy des Champions.

On parting ways with PSG, Ramos said: “I had a great two seasons in the PSG shirt. I have many unforgettable memories. I want to say thank you to everyone at PSG and the fans for their support and love.”

Having had his fair share of ups and downs on the global stage, Ramos’ new home is likely to be Saudi Arabia. Like Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved from Manchester United to Saudi Arabia’s Al Nasr earlier this year, Ramos, Messi and other world stars in their mid-30s are choosing to spend their golden years in the kingdom.
